We provide these additional learning tools at no additional cost. When your eyes get tired, pop the CDs into your computer or personal listening device and let your ears do the work. Our Chief Instructor and Author, Jim Read, has developed these CDs as a supplement to class material. The Audio Flashcards are questions and answers pertaining to the textbook material. In the Math Skills CD, Jim takes you step-by-step through individual math problems. With these CDs, you can practice at your own pace and in the privacy of your own home or office. Read more about Jim's credentials at "Meet the Owners." Our class times are scheduled Saturday and Sunday, the weekend before the state exam. The exam usually takes place on the 4th Tuesday of each month, except November and December when they are adjusted for the holidays. We start at 8am sharp on both days. If you are taking the class and test during the same month, you will have one extra day to study before the state exam. Some students prefer this method; others choose to take the class a month before to have more time to study. You choose, as you are the best judge for your study habits. The state will give you two chances to take or pass the test before they charge you again. We want to increase your chances of passing the first time, therefore, we also include a 48-page CRAM packet with practice test questions and matching exercises at no charge (worth $75). We suggest you use these materials to prepare for the exam. Whether you have one day or one month to study, they will help familiarize you with the testing process.
