Academy of Mortgage Education has been approved by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) to offer our 24-hour Florida Mortgage Pre-licensing Course as 11 hours of real estate continuing education. What that means is that not only can you fulfill your mortgage license requirements with our class, if you are a real estate agent or broker, you can also receive 11 hours or real estate continuing education at no extra charge. Just give us your real estate license number on your registration. There is room to type this info in the “How did you hear about us?” space. Usually, DBPR requires that you complete a total of 14 hours of continuing education for your real estate license renewal. Three hours of this total need to be “core law” for real estate. We currently do not offer real estate core law (we are not a real estate school) but you can easily pick up those 3 hours online or through a live class with our friends at Palm Beach School of Real Estate. Although we have no affiliation with Palm Beach School of Real Estate, many of our clients have used them for online and live classes, including us.
